Vaanam Vasappadum Novel Pdf Down is an Indian movie and a Tamil language film released in 2011. The movie is directed and written by debutante Ayyappa Puthanveettil. This film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role with Jai, Ramesh Thilak, Arya, Anushka Shetty and Radha Arya playing supporting roles. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film was released on 24 November 2011 was a blockbuster.The film revolves around a family which is trying to run their business successfully in spite of youngsters showing little interest to join their business. The movie begins with a sequence where a family is shown going through the customs at a railway station, they are there on their way to Thiruvananthapuram from Mumbai. The father Muthu Murugan (Jai) is heard saying that they have been asked to leave the train as they have not paid the money they owed as he had no cash left with him as he had just bought 2 new dresses for his wife Thangam and daughter Kittu before the journey. His wife says that the money was not important to her as it was her first train trip even though she has seen many trains pass by their house. Muthu asks them to leave the train, but his wife refuses saying that she wont leave till she gets to see at least one train go by. The family decides to board the next available train, but Kittu goes missing along with her mother's new dresses. Thangam asks Muthu to look for Kittu and promises to pay for any cost incurred in finding Kittu. Muthu starts looking for Kittu and unable to find her frantically buys new dresses again and starts looking for her in vain. Meanwhile, Kittu reaches Chennai and during her stay there, she meets many characters. She is taken care by a pick pocket Selvam (Vijay Sethupathi) who supports his mum (Pirai Rajan), sister (Anitha Vijayakumar), and his brother-in-law (Arya). She stays with Selvam who promises to find Kittu's parents and hand her over safely to them. The rest of the story deals with how Selvam manages to reunite Kittu and her parents at Thiruvananthapuram and how the family is glad that they got Kittu back.
The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. The songs were released on 12 November 2011. The satellite rights of the film were secured by Surya TV Star Vijay. The film was given a "U" certificate by the Indian Censor Board. The movie has been dubbed in Telugu as "Chandu". This film got mixed to positive reviews from critics and audience alike. In viewers' ratings it got a rating of 6.7/10 at IMDB . It was one of the highest rated Tamil movie amongst English voice viewers from IMDB World Wide Rating for this year 2011..
